As of February 2020, there has only been one suspicious incident of Coronavirus disease, in a Greek person in Thessaloniki. This person was hospitalized in quarantine for 14 days, as is the protocol in such cases and in the end, it appeared to be NEGATIVE to the Coronavirus. Good news!
This means that as of now, there has been zero patients and zero deaths from Coronavirus in Greece. Pretty safe to visit any part of the country and of course to visit Mykonos, if you are worried about the Coronavirus disease.
Greek Government Halts e-Visas for Chinese residents due to Coronavirus
The Greek Government has decided in the last week of January 2020, to halt the issuance of visas to Chinese residents, until the outbreak of the disease smoothens and without any specific date on when the halt will be reversed. As a first step, the visa issuance halt holds until the 9th of February 2020.
